We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and is the benchmark most widely referenced in United States accessibility law.

• Meaningful alternative text on informative images and empty alt text on decorative ones
• Text and interface contrast measured against WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 body text, 3:1 large text and controls)
• Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators on every interactive element
• Semantic HTML landmarks, real headings, and a skip-to-content link on every page
• Form fields with programmatically associated labels, and errors announced to screen readers rather than signalled by color alone
• Tap targets sized for comfortable use on touch devices

Some content on Hudson West comes from third parties — embedded video players, advertising served by our ad partners, and payment forms hosted by our payment processor. We do not control the markup those providers render, and their accessibility may vary. Where we publish video or audio ourselves, we provide captions or a written transcript wherever feasible; older archive material may not yet be captioned.
